About this Course

Woofers’ Pup Essentials class is aimed at teaching your pup starting at 12 - 14 weeks (or your older dog) basic obedience cues/behaviours in order to have a well- behaved member of the family. If you adopt a dog from a rescue, your dog may not have had any prior training, so these classes will be ideal. Got a young dog going through the teenage “I can’t hear you” stage? These classes can help to re-establish the basic training that your pup was taught previously and get him listening to you again. Training can be instrumental in creating a bond with your puppy or perhaps your new rescue dog which helps to promote in your dog feelings of comfort and security. Training can also help to instill confidence into puppies and shy dogs! The classes cover: • Walking nicely on leash, • Down, • Wait/Stay, • Leave it, • Coming when called • Targeting (teaching “touch”) The cost of the six weeks course includes access to Woofers via email or phone during the time we are working together, and for 4 weeks after the last class.
